The Flathead Valley lies between Glacier National Park and Flathead Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi. With the lake to the south and the other three sides protected by mountain ranges, the Flathead’s climate is surprisingly mild for an area this far north. This means the climate is always right for recreation in every season.
